  1. The balance of mind and body begins with your lifestyle. Avoid the chaos and the pressure to do too much. Learn to appreciate what you have and just be!
  2. If you want it- visualise it. Once you have a visual idea of what you want to achieve, keep focused while you are exercsing and you will be surprised how your body will respond.
  3. Get the party started and let it last all year! Life is not a dress rehearsal, make the most of the opportunities that come your way - you never know if they will appear again or not!
  4. Don't supersize! Develop an eye for appropriate serving sizes - this can make losing a few pounds feel like a walk in the park. Protein servings should be no larger than the size of a pack of cards.
  5. Stress much less - Cortisol, our favourite and famous stress hormone is secreted by the adrenal gland when you feel stressed. Beware, as this little guy has a trick up his sleeve - increased levels of cortisol have been linked to increased snacking and a craving for sweet and sugary foods.
